Halion 10 Normal – Down!

Well done BrotherHood on another First Kill!
The team stuck with it and learned how to dodge lazers!
Phase 1 – shouldn’t need explanation. don’t stand in it. run out to be cleansed/cured.
Phase 2 – avoid the lasers. avoid the breath.
Phase 3 – same as Phase 1 and 2 only the raid is split.
Uncle Vinney, you will be missed.

I have not said much in the last few days or weeks. I was ready to post something about our progress in ICC and then my friend died. Vinney, Falloutboy, FoB died of brain cancer on March 8, 2010 at 7:15am.
I have never felt so powerless in all of my life.
I met Vinney in Eternal Circle, four years ago. We moved to BrotherHood together and then we broke up like an old couple that doesn’t talk to each other anymore. He went to Just Wipe It and I stayed in BrotherHood trying to continue the effort that he knew I would. Yes, I have regrets. Mostly through my lack of communication with him after he left. I think a lot of my decisions in BrotherHood drove us apart and I regret that. I regretted it then as well.
I miss my friend. I am sorry for not being a better friend to you. Be safe and travel with honor forever.

What a battle and a challenge for us. A test of movement, situational awareness, dps and heals. The amount of damage that the tanks were taking after the third inhaled blight was incredible. For us, with DBM, skull stayed at melee, x went to the door and square ran away. Pretty simple.
Congratulations BrotherHood on another first kill!
Rotface made an angry poo poo!

A fun fight? A test of coordination and attentiveness – and patience. Everyone watches Tankspot videos these days. If you don’t, you are either arrogant or not raiding. We walk away from the videos with an “I can do that” attitude.
Assign a kiter to the big ooze. The kiter will run around the outside of the room. They will avoid the splashes of ooze that will come out of the walls when Professor Putricide emotes that he has fixed the faucets. They will also avoid the sprays that come from the big ooze, the little ooze and Rotface. You will see it on the ground and in the air – avoid it. The kiter WILL NOT dps. They will be running about 90% of the time. The kiter will need to keep aggro on the big ooze constantly so they should always be 20-30 yards away. Run, Run around stuff, run through stuff, run through snare stuff, keep aggro. Oh, don’t let the big ooze touch you.
When a raid member gains mutated infection, they will need to run out of the middle of the room immediately. When they are far enough away, they will be cleansed to make a little ooze. Two little oozes make a big ooze. The first two kiters will be running to each other toward the outside of the room where the kiter will pick up the big ooze and begin kiting. Subsequent cleanses/little oozes will need to be brought to the big ooze and its kiter. I recommend that the new little oozes be kited to the big ooze kiter and not intercept the big ooze. The AoE damage from the big ooze is painful so getting near him should be avoided.
Keep your DoTs/DPS up on Rotface

BrotherHood Progress Update

BrotherHood finished the first wing in ICC 25 Normal on Saturday with the downing of Deathbringer Saurfang. The fight was definitely a test for the ranged dps and heals. After soft enrage at 30%, the healing and dps was intense. Intense is mild I think.
