Phase 1 – shouldn’t need explanation. don’t stand in it. run out to be cleansed/cured.
Phase 2 – avoid the lasers. avoid the breath.
Phase 3 – same as Phase 1 and 2 only the raid is split.

With the launch of Real ID and the Ruby Sanctum, Blizzard has turned this Tuesday into maintenance day. So make sure that you have caught up on your maintenance around your castle so that when the servers do come up you can raid until the next morning!

Patch 3.3.5 is up and you are probably downloading it now. The raiding community will be drooling for the Ruby Sanctum but alas it might not be available on your server just yet. See this thread on the Wow forums.

Nice accomplishment for BrotherHood.  We face-rolled the first 8 in 0ne night for the second week in a row and it feels like we can do it all the time.  Putricide is giving our melee fits and is taking its toll on the patience of the raiders I think.  I always seems that we have the people to down the first 8 on Tuesday but never the right mix for the Wednesday learning.  Badge farming?  Not sure if that is what is happening but it feels like it.  We will see as we move forward.

Three significant patches are coming prior to Cataclysm.

2. Frozo the Renowned
3. an NPC has been added to the game which will take Frozen Orbs as currency
4. Class changes, Mounts, Dungeon Finder Changes have been added (see MMO Champion)

3. Obsidian Sanctum expands to include another encounter. I am excited about this and the storyline that the Sanctum added to the game. I can’t wait to see this encounter and see the other portals open.

3. As a true prelude to Cataclysm, two areas of the game which have been left alone for years are being retouched and expanded. I am very excited.

The class changes are significant and display Blizzard’s interest in reducing the complexity of the classes to some degree. A few abilities are being made passive which is good for those who are not macro-ready. The example would be /cast !Rune Strike, which simply enables Rune Strike for that macro sequence (very useful for Death Knights).
